Verizon to launch the frumpy CDM8950 flip phone December 3

Its said to not be one of the best handsets to particularly look at, and the price, well lets just leave it at this mobile madness is most definitely not cheap enough. Nobody really knows where Verizon might be headed with this new handset, however as of now there isn’t any suggestions of an in-store launch date, since its only going to be sold online once December 3rd rolls around.

This “creepy” little handset is somehow going to manage a 1.3 Megapixel camera, Verizon Navigator Services, Video Capture/Playback, and EV-DO. It seems as though Verizon plans to keep this handset as low-key as possible, because our guesses is that they’re going to utilize this handset as a way to satisfy most of their partners third-party sales.

The price is structured as following: $79.99 with a two-year contract before a $50 mail-in rebate, while Verizon prepaid (INPulse) customers will have to deal the hand their dealt by paying $99.99 after rebate. As said above, simply not cheap enough.
