Toshiba W64T and Kyocera W63K roll out at KDDI

Japanese KDDI today announced new additions to its handset range. The Toshiba W64T is a 1-Seg clamshell phone with dedicated touch-sensitive TV key. With an elegant design it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and shake hands reduction, and microSD memory card slot support. The W64T measures 50 x 104 x 17.3 mm and weighs about 124 g.

The second model, W63K by Kyocera is a candybar phone which at first glance surprised me – missing camera and Bluetooth. But user can enjoy other features like: 2.7″ IPS LCD Wide QVGA screen with 240 × 400 pixels, CDMA 1x EV-DO, and e-mail. In 89 g it provides 250 minutes of talk time and 340 hours of standby time.

The carrier will launch these handsets in September 25 and 26 for price which will depend on the retail store.
