Sony Ericsson launches W705 Walkman phone and MBS-900 Wireless Home Audio System

Sony Ericsson unveiled its W705 Walkman phone and Wireless Home Audio System MBS-900 in conjunction with the MTV Europe Music Awards where Sony Ericsson is one of the main sponsors. W705 walkman phone has superior sound quality as the W980 phone which was rated “best audio experience” in a trial conducted in Germany by TESTfactory. In addition to W705 walkman phone, Sony Ericsson has also announced W705u  exclusively for Orange customers. Both W705 and W705u will be available in selected markets from Q1 2009 in the Luxury Silver and Passionate Red colors.

W705 Walkman phone features 3.2 megapixel camera. With the ability to share users can upload their pictures on social networks using Wi-Fi. It has a large 2.4” screen to display websites and emails with high clarity. W705 comes with HSPA, full web browser, auto-rotation of landscape/portrait, and stereo Bluetooth.  User can connect to Youtube and PlayNow music service through broadband. W705 has some of the popular Walkman features such as the music recognition application TrackID, SensMe, for matching your mood to the music and Shake control.

MBS-900 is a stylish audio system which has a high quality dual speaker and sub-woofer system. Using Bluetooth users can connect MBS-900 with their mobile phone and stream music wirelessly. MBS-900 music settings can be adjusted even from the other side of the room through phone. Users can even use the touch controls music settings with their mobile phone. You can listen to the built-in radio and make a phone call at the same time and if the phone rings, these clever speakers will automatically mute. The Wireless Home Audio System MBS-900 will be available from Q1 2009. No information about pricing has been provided.
