RUMOR: Next Palm WebOS Device Will Be Named Palm EOS
While Palm Pre CDMA will be available by May or June, rumors a new Palm WebOS have now leaked, which will supposedly be released for AT&T network in US. Unlike the Palm Pre, the GSM Palm EOS is said to have the traditional Treo design. It is believed that this smartphone will have a QWERTY keyboard below the touchscreen, but will be slimmer than the Treo smartphone series.
According to some online sources, the Palm EOS has a codename Castlen and is actually the successor of the Palm Centro. There is no mention yet about the availability date. But we know this much – at just 10.6 mm thickness, this is supposed to be one of the thinnest of smartphones.
Other specs of the Palm EOS are said to include 2MP fixed focus camera with flash, Bluetooth 2.1, 4GB storage, SMS, MMS and A-GPS.
