T-Mobile UK To Sell ZTE Touchscreen Phones Soon

If hearsay is to be believed, T-Mobile is soon going to start selling a touchscreen handheld from the Chinese manufacturer, ZTE. ZTE is not exactly a “celebrity” cellphone manufacturer, but has done some devices for 3UK earlier. This device, though, may be the first one for T-Mobile.

The touchscreen device, called the vairy touch, will be available on prepay. This is said to offer dual-band GSM, 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth and FM radio, plus the usual SMS/MMS/Multimedia routine.

The handset, it is said, will sell for ?59.99 on Prepay. That is truly low, isn’t it? Check out the picture below and decide for yourself.

Here Is The New Razor (not RAZR, mind you) Phone, The Cool758

The mobile phones available today are getting cooler and cooler by the second! There is this new one, which is called the Cool758, which is a razor phone. Yup, you guys heard right – this thing can actually shave. How much cooler can it get, right? There is already the RAZR V3 from Motorola that is making waves in the market. But is this Cool758 “razor phone” really going to “shave off” many other companies’ profits away?

The shaving implement is located right at the bottom of the mobile phone. You just pop the cap off the bottom and there it is. Well, of course, whether it really does shave at all is the million-dollar question here. Anyway, the Cool758 has a dual-SIM, touchscreen facility. Plus, it has a 2MP camera to fall back on as well. Nothing about the pricing has been mentioned right now.

Samsung Claims To Hold A Quarter Of The Global Touchscreen Phone Market

Samsung recently announced that it had shipped more than 5 million of its touchscreen F480 mobile phone units. The company now claims to hold 25% of the world’s touchscreen mobile phone market. Most of the touchscreen devices shipped recently use Samsung’s very own TouchWIZ UI, though some models for North America, such as the Instinct, do not use that interface.

Well, we are waiting to see what kind of UI the company would bring to Android. Would they be using the selfsame TouchWIZ technology on Google’s platform or would they go for Android’s own native interface, such as the thing we see on the HTC Dream and HTC Magic? Maybe they will introduce their technology. After all, Samsung has brought it to Windows Mobile and Symbian as well, right? Well, let us wait and watch for more.
