There has been a buzz for quite a while now that HTC is planning a new product soon. Well, with a brand like HTC, rumors fly around like crazy. There is one latest rumor about HTC that the company is preparing its very first dumbphone for release this Fall. According to these online sources, this phone will come with a touchscreen (but of course) and will resemble the HTC Viva smartphone.
Rumors additionally insist that the device will run a custom HTC OS that will be based on HTC’s famous TouchFLO 3D and Sense UIs. This would mean that the rumoured phone would have all the style of its “smarter” counterparts, without the complications of a proper smartphone. The HTC Touch Pro is now slated for US Cellular. The native device has caught up with Sprint and Verizon in launching HTC’s VGA display-equipped landscape QWERTY slider, including a 3.2 megapixel cam, 288MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM, WiFi, and all the TouchFLO 3D capabilities you can ever handle for $249.95 on contract after mail-in rebate.
Of course, this is not exactly earth-shaking news, since there is already a later version of the Touch Pro that is creating waves in the market. But then something is always better than nothing, right, folks?

The new Acer F900 is creating quite a lot of curiosity among mobile lovers. Looking a lot like the HTC TouchHD, only a little less refined UI and no 3.5mm audio jack, this cutie running Windows Mobile will come at a price of 25,000 rubles when it finally enters the Russian market, which amounts to a whopping $745.
The Acer F900 features a giant WVGA display, 3G, GPS, WiFi, and all the trimmings. But all said and done, one does feel the massive difference between HTC’s stellar TouchFLO 3D.
