Sonim Chooses The Tough Opera Mini To Support Its New Line Of XP3 Tough Phones

Sonim, a company known to make the world’s toughest GSM mobile phones, has now chosen the world’s toughest browser, the Opera Mini, to support its latest line of the rugged XP3 phones. The Sonim XP3, a mobile phone designed especially for extreme sports and wilderness freaks, has the pre-installed Opera Mini within itself. This cell phone is now available in Australia and Europe.

Both Sonim and Opera share the joint vision of providing the user with a fantastic browsing experience, both at work and at play. The Opera Mini now has over 21 million active users. This versatile browser works with almost all phones that have data connectivity. The Sonim XP3 and Opera Mini will work together to provide the diehard adventure fan with safety tips and weather conditions and also let users connect with their friends while out of normal receptivity range for other mobile carriers.

The XP3 is submersible, can survive up to a 2-meter fall and can withstand temperatures as low as –20 degrees C and as high as 60 degrees C. Additionally, this tri-band EDGE phone is glare-resistant and supports Bluetooth and PC Sync. The greatest benefit here is that you get a complete 3-year warranty on the product. So what are you waiting for? Go check out the rugged Sonim XP3.
