Pantech’s thin QWERTY candybar phone, the Slate, is now available through AT&T stores. The Slate was introduced together with AT&T Quickfire, Pantech Matrix and Samsung Propel like a new lineup of QWERTY phones with a messaging solution.
At this moment, the Slate is world’s thinnest QWERTY phone with a 2.2 inch LCD display, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Instant Messaging, mobile e-mail, and a mobile banking. In an attractive black design with a blue keypad, the handset is already sold for around $50 after rebate with a 2-year contract.
AT&T boosts its position in mobile market and brings 4 new QWERTY mobile phones dedicated to messaging lovers. AT&T Quickfire, Pantech Slate, Pantech Matrix or Samsung Propel, each of these new handsets can provides a great messaging solution its user.
The AT&T Quickfire is an one-way slider supporting AT&T’s 3G network. It features Napster Mobile and eMusic Mobile. Users may choose from 3 different colour designs: orange, lime and silver for $99.99 after a 2-year agreement and rebates.
Another model, the Pantech Slate is thinnest QWERTY handset available today and in a candybar form factor it has a 1.3 megapixel camera, IM, Bluetooth, and Mobile Email. It will be available for $49.99 after a 2-year agreement and mail-in rebate.
Pantech Matrix is a dual-sliding QWERTY device with features like 1.3 megapixel camera, IM, AT&T Navigator, Mobile Email, AT&T Mobile Music, CV and AT&T Video Share. It’s available in blue, black with green, and red for $79.99 with a 2-year agreement and rebate.
Our last “warrior” in our story is Samsung Propel. Like the previous models, this one also boasts a 1.3 megapixel camera, IM capability, Mobile Email, AT&T Navigator, CV, AT&T Video Share calling, AT&T Mobile Music and much more. It will be available in blue, green, red, and white with red for $79.99 after a two-year agreement and mail-in rebate.
The last 3 mobile phones will be available in the end of this month while the AT&T Quickfire is expected to be available in November.
