The Samsung i627 Propel Pro Is Slated For AT&T

The Samsung i627 Propel Pro, one of the latest introductions from Samsung, was revealed at the CTIA Wireless 2009. This mobile phone is slated for AT&T. Though stylish-looking, the smartphone evoked mixed reactions from the public. The QWERTY keyboard had nothing extra special to offer. It was pretty much the same as the Samsung Propel that has been quite popular for AT&T so far.

The Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, though, seemed pretty responsive. Happily enough, Samsung also promised an update to Windows Mobile 6.5 “soon.” The metallic cover material used on the phone seemed pretty prone to scratching, and the display did not impress very greatly either. Of course, maybe this is merely a pre-production version of the actual Propel Pro, so we will have to wait till the smartphone actually enters the retail market. The pricing of the Propel Pro i627 is expected to be about US$149.99 and is supposed to enter the market later this month.
