AT&T Samsung Magnet Hands On

The Samsung Magnet, one of the latest offerings of Samsung, slated for AT&T, features at the CTIA Wireless 2009. It is surprisingly reasonably priced for a smartphone. Including a full QWERTY keyboard, this mobile phone looks stylish too. There is no information yet about an official date of availability, but we we must admit that we felt rather good about the whole Magnet experience. The web browser is a bit lightweight, and some might consider the orange color loud, but we really do not have the heart to find fault with that, because it is aimed directly at a market that digs messaging and bright colors.

The Samsung Magnet smartphone fits snugly into the palm of the hand, the OS is nice and responsive. The ample screen is bright and large enough for user comfort. We noticed one other thing – the keyboard, and the phone’s size are very similar to a Nokia E71. We wish there was 3G too, but that would again mean a price increase, so we aren’t complaining. Take a look at the pics.
