Sprint says that they’ve somehow teamed up with Cupid and they’re offering lovers and friends 3 phones that have been wrapped in the color purple, pink, and red all for Valentine’s Day. The first phone is the sleek LG Lotus featured in a passionate red. This LG offers quick and simple customizable options with an easy to handle user interface for texting, Web access, email, Sprint navigation, Sprint TV, and the Sprint Music Store. The Lotus offers a full QWERTY keyboard that’s made for texting. It features full Bluetooth technology and a 2.0 MP camera/recorder as well; you can find the LG Lotus at your nearest Sprint dealer for $99.99 with a new two-year agreement.
The Samsung Instinct now comes in luscious pink that features touchscreen functionality with fast access to Sprints 3G networks. The Instinct offers Visual Voicemail, stereo Bluetooth, memory up to 8GB and a 2 megapixel camera/recorder. You can get the Instinct for $99 with a two-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The Samsung Rant arrives in bold purple or red colors to choose from with complete email, text and instant messaging capabilities. You’ll be able to grab this device for just $49.99 with a two-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate.

You can now grab the Samsung Instinct in pink at a price reduction of $99.99 with a two-year contract. The Instinct was immediately made available in pink right before this devices limited time price drop. It will come out to $99.99 after a mail-in-rebate, which is generous enough we must say.
Now for a little history on the Instinct, just after a few days of its release the Samsung Instinct had become the fastest selling EVDO technology capable handset in all of Sprint history. The Instinct had accounted for more than one-fifth of the handsets being sold shortly during the first two weeks of its availability.
“Bringing the price under $100 will make it even more accessible to customers who want the best of Sprint’s 3G network on a powerful touchscreen device.” Stated by Kevin Packingham, Sprints SVP of Product Development.
This is exactly what they were aiming for, to keep this device alive on the notion and “instinct” that by adding a color and reducing the price, they will continue to sell more of these devices.
