Samsung SGH-a767 Propel – AT&T to launch it within hours

Maybe some of you are waiting for this new QWERTY slider from AT&T which was introduced two weeks ago together with another 3 QWERTY devices – AT&T Quickfire, Pantech Slate and Pantech Matrix. Propel’s shipping will begin tomorrow (October 25) through select AT&T retail locations for $79.99 with a 2-year contract and a mail-in rebate.

As reminder, the Propel has 2.2 inches screen, full QWERTY keyboard, a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and microSD support up to 8GB. It weighs 3.79 ounces, measures 3.85 x 2.33 x .58 inches, and works in 3G as well as in quad-band GSM.

Samsung’s new slider QWERTY phone, the Propel, has been already introduced for AT&T 3 days ago. There were no high resolution pictures of this new handset on the announce day so in introduction of the attractive SGH-a767 we have found some images of all available color designs.

We also add some extra specifications of this device which we have missed before: 99 x 58 x 13 mm, 108 g, 2.2 inches 262k TFT screen with 176×220 pixel resolution, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS 850/1900, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP profile, built-in aGPS and microSD support.

AT&T boosts its position in mobile market and brings 4 new QWERTY mobile phones dedicated to messaging lovers. AT&T Quickfire, Pantech Slate, Pantech Matrix or Samsung Propel, each of these new handsets can provides a great messaging solution its user.

The AT&T Quickfire is an one-way slider supporting AT&T’s 3G network. It features Napster Mobile and eMusic Mobile. Users may choose from 3 different colour designs: orange, lime and silver for $99.99 after a 2-year agreement and rebates.

Like the previous models, this one also boasts a 1.3 megapixel camera, IM capability, Mobile Email, AT&T Navigator, CV, AT&T Video Share calling, AT&T Mobile Music and much more. It will be available in blue, green, red, and white with red for $79.99 after a two-year agreement and mail-in rebate.

The last 3 mobile phones will be available in the end of this month while the AT&T Quickfire is expected to be available in November.
