The Samsung Omnia is now just coming to Canada’s CDMA carriers. Strange, is it not, given that you are already familiar with the OmniaHD? Anyway, the Windows Mobile 6.1 powered handheld will not be changing specs-wise. The latest news is also that this smartphone will be seen on Bell Mobility and Telus this month.
We have received information that Bell’s Omnia will be priced at $549.95 outright or for as low as $349.95 for a three-year contract. We are all awaiting its release, so let us hope they bring it into the market soon enough.

All the major cell phone companies have released a lot of surprises this 2009 MWC. Can Samsung can be left far behind? This company has lined up an amazing array of phones for the season, bringing out the latest and most advanced technology mobile phones. The theme devised by Samsung is ‘Get In Touch With Samsung Mobile’ and it has come out with a wide range of premium, lifestyle, Ultra TOUCH touchscreen models.
The Ultra TOUCH S8300 is extremely stylish and has cutting-edge technology, giving users a fabulous UI to work with. With an AMOLED display and 8MP camera, this mobile phone brings a 3D UI TouchWiz into play as well. Encased in special glass and aluminum, the slider phone is both elegant and graceful. The OMNIAHD i8910, the BeatDJ M7600 and the BeatDISC M6710, which hit record sales last year, also received greater public attention this year.
Already manufacturing mobile phones supporting various platforms such as Windows Mobile, Samsung plans to introduce yet more innovations this year, such as LBS services, 4G mobile WiMAX and more. The Samsung Application Store will also be available online very soon.
