The Samsung Omnia smartphone has been announced a month ago. Now, Italian customers and other European customers will get this smartphone on July 22 and during August. In Italy, Samsung will demonstrate this phone on all the most beautiful beaches of the Italian coast, so customers can get this phone and try it before they buy it. The estimated price is 499 Euro (8GB version) without contract. For the rest of Europe the price will depend on the contracts. Some basic specifications: Windows Mobile 6.1, 3.2″ WQVGA full touch screen featuring the TouchWiz UI, 5-megapixel CMOS camera with AF, 8GB or 16GB internal memory and GPS system.
The Samsung SGH-i900 is HSDPA smartphone featuring 3.2? WQVGA LCD display with the TouchWiz UI, 5-megapixel CMOS camera. The phone works in HSDPA 7.2Mbps, EDGE/GPRS quad-band 850/900/1800/1900. It supports 8GB or 16GB internal memory and provides navigation system.
