We were really expecting to see the HTC Touch Pro2 for T-Mobile to enter the market in July. But we’re all in for a longer wait. Now, we have received documents that state the latest feather in HTC’s cap, the AWS-equipped superphone, will not be anywhere in sight till August 12.
Hmm, this long wait is killing all of you guys, we know. But what can we do except sit and wait? Anyway, the myTouch 3G will launch shortly, so that should be interesting. Of course, this may or may not have caused competition for the former, but hey, launching late is something of an advantage for the Touch Pro2. Otherwise, how does this thingy get more prominence, right, folks?

If you had been one of the early birds who wisely pre-ordered your myTouch 3G smartphone from T-Mobile, the device will most probably reach you by August 3. At least, the picture below seems to indicate that.
In case you missed it earlier, there is going to be a press event slated for July 8 in New York, USA, where this wonderful handheld would be formally announced. Pre-orders from existing customers will be available at that time. The latest rumors seem to point to general availability of the myTouch 3G on August 5, but there’s no confirmation yet, so we will have to wait a while more to know for sure.

We have got some interesting news for you from HTC. HTC is now looking to introduce its new Sense UI, the one that features on its new Hero smartphone, to non-Google branded, Android-powered devices, such as Roger Wireless’ Magic.
Of course, this means that smartphones that run on the “Google” branding, such as the T-Mobile G1 and the latest myTouch 3G will not be included in the bracket. This is because of certain licensing terms that prevent Microsoft Exchange clients running on these phones. Nevertheless, something tells us that it is not going to take much time for some hacker to fiddle with this condition and bypass the restriction soon enough….. What do you guys think?
