Sprint has now decided to launch the very hot-n-happening iDEN phone ever created, the Motorola Stature i9. This mobile phone has a 3.1MP autofocus camera with flash, GPS, haptics, Bluetooth, iDEN-powered Direct Connect and microSD slot for expandable memory.
The Motorola Stature i9 is toted as the thinnest phone in the Direct Connect line. Introduced on Boost Mobile, the Motorola Stature i9 will be available for $299 and for $199.99 on a 2-year contract, after rebate. Check out the picture below and drool!

Motorola finally released its another iDEN phone which was appeared through FCC files. The new Stature i9 is also the thinnest flip phone by Motorola at this moment in Sprint’s phone range. The i9 has a 2.0” 240×320 QVGA TFT touch sensitive external screen, 2.2” 240×320 QVGA TFT internal one, 3.1MP camera with flash and auto focus, 256 MB flash and 128 RAM.
Multimedia lovers can enjoy its various file support: AAC, AAC+, AMR, MIDI, RealAudio, WMA, H263, H264, MP4, RealVideo, and WMV. The Motorola Stature i9 also sports Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, micro USB, a built-in mobile browser – Openwave 7.21, and supports up to 8 GB of optional removable memory.
Beside its Push-To-Talk technology and iDEN 800/900 mhz bands support, it provides 175 min of talk time and 79 hours of standby time. The new Stature i9 with a “piece of RAZR2″ will be available by the end of this month priced at 200USD with a new contract and after a mail-in rebate through Sprint and for 300USD with Boost Mobile without a contract.
