Motorola Introduces Novel Recycled Mobile Phone, the MOTO W233 Renew And 3G Touch Tablet, the MOTOSURF A3100

Motorola has announced two novel releases for display at the 2009 International CES to be held at Las Vegas. The first introduction, the MOTO W233 Renew, is truly special since it has an environmentally friendly design teamed with fantastic quality, while also helping you reduce your carbon footprint. The plastic casing of the MOTO W233 Renew is made from recycled plastic water bottles. This also happens to be the world’s very first carbon neutral mobile phone. Even the packaging of the phone is made from recycled paper, so it cuts down the cost and the size of the package.

This phone uses natural renewable energy sources and has rightly earned the CarbonFree Product Certification from Carbonfund.org after a series of product life-cycle assessment tests. This highly environmentally responsible phone is expected to create waves once it arrives in the markets.

Motorola’s second introduction, the MOTOSURF A3100, is a 3G touch tablet with a customizable home screen, layered on top on the usual Windows Mobile 6.1 software. All features of the MOTOSURF A3100 can be accessed with the tip of a finger, stylus or its trackball. This smartphone gives you access to the latest news, info on weather, access emails and more. You can also listen to MP3s, participate in videoconferences and access Facebook while on the go.
