Mysterious T-Swivel Device Revealed As Compal Tabasco MID
There was a reportedly unknown T-Swivel device shown all around the web last week. Everyone’s curiosities lead them to believe it was the Palm Roteo, however, now we know most of our assumptions were incorrect. Because now It’s been revealed and made known to the mobile tech community as the Compal Tabasco MID prototype.
This device had been on display at Computex 2008 last June with a 4.5-5 inch touchscreen and featuring a 3.2-Megapixel rear camera with 2x optical zoom. It’s been equipped with flash and (front-facing) webcam capabilities. This said laptop styled touchpad offers its users tiny mouse buttons to snug under their fingers. Because it is a prototype, there is a chance that this phone could still become the Roteo.
As of now one thing we’re sure of, is that no one knows if this device is even on track for being released, or what operating system this phone will embrace, we’ll just have to wait it out and gain more knowledge of this device as the prototype evolves into a fully working phone.
