Samsung together with T-Mobile today launched a long time rumored 8 megapixel touch screen phone, the Samsung Memoir. The Memoir is equipped with a touch display which features Samsung’s TouchWiz technology providing a virtual QWERTY keyboard; Bluetooth; built-in a-GPS; a full HTML browser and support for 3G networks.
Well, we know, there is not much information about this new 8MP “cutie” but we hope it will be available soon and for a good price.
There have been rumors that a T-Mobile stamped phone with the name Samsung Memoir is a potential addition to the vast and all mighty T-Mobile lineup. A couple blurry shots have been in circulation within the mobile community, and its said to be a powerful new introduction to T-mobiles family of smart phones. The Samsung Memoir has been rumored to be a Pixon because of its style and camera position, thus its said to have a built in 8-megapixel camera.
It will featureSamsung’s TouchWiz interface, as well as the potential for a 3G and HTML browser. Although, one update we believe Samsung should take part in is upgrading their e-mail client, in order for users to have the option of using POP3 e-mail accounts for a more “complete” mobile phone.
