Samsung and LG today announced three new multimedia phones exclusively for Sprint including flip phone and two slider handsets. The phones come equipped with One Click user interface which allows users to easily access the features which they use most on these devices. Let’s introduce the flip phone first.
The LG LX600 Lotus is a stylish flip phone featuring full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera with camcorder, and stereo Bluetooth. The phone also provides email, instant messaging, Web access, Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV, and Sprint Music Store. With built-in GPS, microSD slot for up to 12GB and a media player, the Lotus will be available in October for $149.99 with a 2-year contract.
The second model, the HighNote by Samsung has a dual-slider form factor. If you slide up it will reveal dial pad and if you slide down it will show its powerful stereo speakers. Like the LG Lotus, The HighNote also features a 2 megapixel camera with camcorder, stereo Bluetooth, expandable memory up to 16GB, Sprint Music Store, Sprint Navigation, Web surfing, and email. It also has a GPS function and Sprint will sell this phone on October 19 for $99.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate in red or blue variants.
The last announced model by Samsung, the Rant is also a slider but only in horizontal side. With a full QWERTY keyboard has the same specifications like the previous model: 2 megapixel camera with camcorder, expandable memory up to 16GB, stereo Bluetooth, Sprint Navigation, Sprint Music Store and Sprint TV. This handset will be available also in October for just $49.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate and in red or black, but also in an exclusive purple color at Best Buy.
