The latest mobile news doing its rounds is that T-Mobile UK has got its hands exclusively on LG’s GT500 phone. The LG GT500 is an HSDPA full-touch device, which includes a 5MP camera with image stabilization, tethering capacity, aGPS, 130MB built-in storage and microSD slot.
The LG GT500 is currently shipping and may finally land up with Rogers, is what we think. Well, we doubt you’ll ever be able to get to own this thing, but there’s nothing wrong in trying. What say you?

Juicy XML metadata on LG’s own site suggests that the GT500 (a cell phone which has yet to be officially announced for any market, though it was originally rumored for T-Mobile in Europe) should be headed for Rogers at some point of time soon. That’s pretty awesome news for Canadians, considering the spec sheet has this one rolling deep with 3G, a 5 megapixel cam, and a WQVGA touchscreen.
The only GT500 we’ve seen pass the FCC so far only received approval on EDGE bands, suggesting that Rogers will have to wait for a second version with North American 3G or forge ahead with EDGE alone. Well, we are waiting and watching to bring you guys news on this one.
