LG is going great guns these days. First it was the BL40 Chocolate which is creating waves in the market much before its release. Now it is the turn of the new LG Black Label cousin, the LG BL42, to surface online.
The LG BL42 is a slider phone that has a crimson slide-out keypad and illuminated navigation buttons. It also comes with a 5MP camera – maybe the same one as that of the Chocolate. This, as you can see in the pic below, does look good enough to fit in nicely into the Chocolate series. We have no idea about the release dates and so on. We will let you know when something comes up on that front.
We had recently brought you a video teaser on the second-generation LG Chocolate phone, the LG BL40 (click here for original post). Now, here are some more photos of the device, a graceful, long and slender chocolate bar with LG’s S-Class UI.
Other specs of this phone include HSDPA, 5MP camera with LED flash, WiFi and FM Radio. But hey, what’s that in the bottommost photo? It’s yet another phone with a strikingly similar design, only, it’s shorter than the one seen above. So does that mean we have a bonus second-gen Chocolate phone?
We are still not so sure whether this video is authentic, but we have every reason to believe this is indeed a first peek at the much-hyped second-generation LG Chocolate phone.

This phone looks just too good for words. It is rumoured to have a Flash-based 3D UI with multitouch, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, aGPS and a fantastic scratch-proof glass screen surface. Extremely slim-built, this Chocolate more than deserves all the drooling it’s gonna get! Check out the video below and enjoy.
