Lenovo Mobile is all set to release its two touchscreen mobile phones, Frosty White i60 and i60s into the China market. As the name suggests, these two phones are an elegant silver in color and have clean lines and an uncluttered look. Both these stylish-looking phones support dual-band GSM networks. A 200MHz main processor and a 600MHz multimedia processor also power both mobile phones as well.
While the i60 comes with a 3” WQVGA touchscreen display and 16GB memory, the i60s is slightly smaller and features a 2.8” screen. Both these phones include a 2MP camera, Bluetooth and built-in media player, which can display pictures, play audio and various video formats too. Neither of these phones, though, have proper hardware configuration for either Windows Mobile or Google Android.
The Lenovo i60 costs 1150 Chinese Yuan and the i60s, 1599 Yuan.

If someone were to tell you that the iPhone and Google G1 phones have been entered into a mobile “beauty pageant” along with a phone manufactured by Lenovo and that they might actually loose, you’d probably look at them with a perplexed expression and deem that impossible since Lenovo is stationed in China and it is known that some of the most horrific-looking phones give birth here.
Well behold, iPhone’s new beautiful competition the Lenovo Ophone. This phone’s physical design is groundbreaking and absolutely overshadows that of the Android-based G1 phone. This is mobile device specifically designed to comply with China Mobile’s Open Mobile System combining an Android core with the service and apps of the carrier’s TD-SCDMA 3G network.
To break it down for you, this means that the Ophone will never (or at least until hacked) see light outside of its originating country, China. Hopefully HTC (known for its unique designs) has something in the works that’ll make us all forget about the Ophone.

China’s leading mobile maker Lenovo has just launched its new P960, which is the first phone model carrying a fingerprint biometrics technology. This device is actually making waves because of its recording option and biometric fingerprint scanner. Lenovo P960 has an automatic recording feature that automatically records calls from designated numbers. P960 mobile comes with a built in Biometric fingerprint scanner which offers protection from theft. It actually uses Atrua’s popular fingerprint touch control system, a technology which accurately recognizes fingerprints while consuming only a fraction of the power to image a fingerprint.
