You can now grab the Samsung Instinct in pink at a price reduction of $99.99 with a two-year contract. The Instinct was immediately made available in pink right before this devices limited time price drop. It will come out to $99.99 after a mail-in-rebate, which is generous enough we must say.
Now for a little history on the Instinct, just after a few days of its release the Samsung Instinct had become the fastest selling EVDO technology capable handset in all of Sprint history. The Instinct had accounted for more than one-fifth of the handsets being sold shortly during the first two weeks of its availability.
“Bringing the price under $100 will make it even more accessible to customers who want the best of Sprint’s 3G network on a powerful touchscreen device.” Stated by Kevin Packingham, Sprints SVP of Product Development.
This is exactly what they were aiming for, to keep this device alive on the notion and “instinct” that by adding a color and reducing the price, they will continue to sell more of these devices.
Samsung is on the rampage, yet again. Samsung, which has already become a craze with the current generation of mobile freaks with its lovely Omnia, is back again, this time, with the Android phone. Samsung has just announced the introduction of its Android Phone in June 2009. The new phone will be available very soon on Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile all over the United States of America.
Samsung has also announced that its new touch-screen device will be based on that of the Omnia and the Instinct. So it is expected that the Samsung Android phone will have a rectangular with a full-screen display and the least set of buttons possible, just like all other touchscreen mobile phones you normally come across.
We know you guys are really impatient to get your hands on this one, but hey, it is only a six-months wait, after all. Just watch this space for more news on the beauty.

The calendar option which Sprints featuring is actually an extension of Mobile Email Work. Sprint partnered up with Seven, one of the leading providers of mobile messaging solutions, in order to create Mobile Email Work, allowing Instinct users to access work calendars from Microsoft Exchange Servers 2000, 2003, and 2007 accounts, or an alternative to Microsoft would be IBM Domino accounts as well.
With Mobile Email Work you’re able to view calendar synchs which include monthly, weekly and daily views, paired up with an appointment view displaying the details of every available appointment. The corporate calendar will be provided as a software update to already Instinct customers with Mobile Email Work. New customers are able and encouraged to activate the Mobile Email Work service through their email menu.
Sprint plans to expand the corporate calendar synch option to additional phones that are not categorized as PDA’s sometime in the future. Sprint’s stated that if a customer is interested in the Mobile Email Work and corporate calendar option they can take advantage of the Ready Now program, which in return helps customers realize the benefits that the Now Network can provide them.
