Samsung SGH-t459 Gravity to hit T-Mobile stores

Samsung’s sleek slider QWERTY messaging phone, the Gravity, which was introduced two weeks ago, is now available through T-Mobile retail stores for less than 50 USD after mail-in rebate with a new contract. The handset has a 2.1″ 262K TFT screen with 176 x 220 pixels, 60 MB on-board memory, a multimedia player and Bluetooth connectivity.

Gravity’s storage you may expand with a microSD card up to 4 GB. The phone also boasts AOL, ICQ, Windows Live, and Yahoo! instant messaging ability. With dimensions 4.53 x 2.07 x 0.70 inches and 4.3 ounces it provides up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. It’s available in two color options: aqua with white and lime with gray finish.

T-Mobile to bring Samsung SGH-T919 Behold and Samsung Gravity for holiday season

Two new phones by Samsung are coming to T-Mobile with touch-screen and slide-out design. In the holiday season customers of T-Mobile will enjoy the long time rumored T919 Behold phone and a newbie, the Gravity slider with a QWERTY keyboard.

The T919 Behold features Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface which we have introduced a time ago. TouchWiz is a widget based system allowing users to customize and personalize their phone. Beside its 3.1 inch 262k color TFT touch-screen with virtual QWERTY keyboard, the Behold has a 5 megapixel camera, GPS function, stereo Bluetooth and full web browsing support. It will be available in November 10th for 150 USD with a 2-year contract.

Our slider in this story, represented by Samsung Gravity, is a messaging phone bringing IM, text, multimedia and video experience. It has 2.1 inch 262k color TFT screen, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP profile, and support for up to 4GB microSD cards. The Gravity should begin its shipping on November 17th for 50 USD with a new 2-year customer agreement.
