Last time we saw an EXILIM phone by Casio 3 months ago when KDDI released it in a clamshell design but with the same camera hardware – the Casio EXILIM W63CA. Today, the Casio decided to bring this handset to the light in a sliding design and for another leading Japanese carrier, SoftBank.
The Casio 930CA now got less, 3″ wide VGA (480 × 854) LCD display, but bigger memory support – up to 8GB for microSDHC cards. With 3G HSDPA high-speeds it features GPS, Bluetooth, Infrared, music playback, a mobile wallet, and an email capability. It’s available in four vivid colors: white, pink, rose-red, and black. Good job, Casio!

Isn’t this a 8.1 megapixel camera with a phone feature? No, it’s a phone with camera feature. Our readers who read carefully might noticed we already reported a story about this new handset. Yes, this phone will be the one of KDDI’s upcoming lineup of phones which will include a pre-installed Opera Mobile browser and Widgets.
Let’s have a look at this phone closer: beside the 8.1 megapixel CMOS camera with autofocus it has a 3.1 inches WVGA organic EL screen with 480 × 800 pixels, microSD support up to 2GB, Bluetooth, a mobile dictionary, and an e-mail capability.
The W63CA supports CDMA 1x WIN system and it’s able to provide 230 min of talk and 260 hours of standby in size 50 x 110 x 17.4 mm and weight 124 g. However, we have no info on the pricing and availability, I would like to get my hands on one.
