The BlackBerry Pearl Flip has generally received mixed reactions from the public who have used it. While some thought it lacks the looks that is expected of a BlackBerry smartphone, others think that the oddly placed trackball is the one that gives it the weird feeling. But those who have used the Pearl Flip from Telus are not really disappointed with it. While it does come with it problems, it also has a lot going for it.
The specs of the Pearl Flip include a SureType QWERTY keyboard, 2MP camera with video, Bluetooth, media player, microSD card BlackBerry Maps, wireless email and light sensing screen among the other usual stuff a smartphone offers you.
This device is shortly expected shortly on Alltel and Verizon, so we thought you might as well have a good look at all its specs. The pros of the Pearl Flip include a nice keypad that works well, appealing form factor and external LCD offering new functionality. The minuses include the fact that the phone is a wee bit on the heavy side, the trackball does not go too easy on the eyes and the video capability is not quite up to the mark. All-in-all, the BlackBerry 8230 Pearl Flip is definitely worth a look.
