The latest rumor in mobile world is that, along with the HTC Magic, there will be 2 more Android smartphones from HTC released very soon. Here, we have for you, your very first pictures of the supposed HTC Hero Android smartphone. The photos are slightly blurry, but it nonetheless gives you a good idea of what the device might look like. The new HTC Hero does not seem to have a trackball, there are 5 hardware buttons below the touch screen and a 3.5 mm headphone jack on top.

Here is a video of the Samsung i7500 Android phone, which gives the phone an in depth look at the smartphone. While the software is not yet in its final state, one must admit it looks pretty smart overall.

A few T-Mobile G1 users from the Android Community forum have reportedly received the latest cupcake updates from T-Mobile UK. The over-the-air updates are about 44MB in size and will update the Android to version 1.5. There are also many others in UK did not receive these update notifications yet, but should be getting the same by end May.
The new Android 1.5 is adding a soft QWERTY keyboard to allow text input via the touchscreen. It will also add the ability to upload photo / video directly to Picasa and YouTube from the G1 device.
The HTC Magic, exclusive in the UK to Vodafone and Vodafone’s first Android-powered smartphone, will be available to buy from May 1 at www.vodafone.co.uk/magic, through Vodafone’s retail stores and from telesales.
The pricing for the HTC Magic starts from free on a two year contract at GBP35 per month including unlimited mobile internet use, 600 minutes and unlimited texts. The phone will also come with a 2GB memory card. Customers who wish to pre-order online before May 1 will also benefit from a value offer from Vodafone and receive the GBP35 price plan for GBP30.
