Motorola Morrison Seems To Be Android-Powered

We have some more info here about the Motorola Morrison that merely surfaced as a blank screen when we spotted it the last time round. Now, there is evidence that this smartphone is running the Android OS. It seems to have the vanilla Android build right now, but we can’t say anything for sure just as yet.

The picture below is quite blurry, so we couldn’t make out whether the square thing on the left is a Call or a Menu key. We also think some soft keys may be missing from the pic. No other information on the specs as such, but we’re sure keeping a lookout for more on the Morrison!

RUMOR: Samsung SGH-T939 Behold 2 Heading For T-Mobile With Android

There is this latest rumor about the Samsung SGH-T939 Behold 2 going to T-Mobile. This smartphone was recently approved by the WiFi Alliance. Its profile xml seems to indicate that the Behold 2 may be running the Android OS.

There is nothing else that is of interest as far as this thing is concerned. But at least for now, T-Mobile customers may have more choice other than just the T-Mobile G1 and the latest myTouch 3G.

RUMOR: Rachel Is Actually The Sony Ericsson Android Smartphone

The latest smartphone rumor surfacing today is that the first Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson is known as Rachel. This carries the Xperia brand name with it. When it finally comes out, it might have the same feel as the HTC, with a custom UI, running the Android OS.

Rachel, it is believed, will be powered by the very latest 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and will include a stunning 8MP camera among other features. Additionally, it is said to have 3 hardware keys below the touchscreen as well.

The Motorola Sawgrass, Android-powered Heron May Slide onto AT&T

The previously rumored Motorola portrait QWERTY slider phone, Iron Man has popped up again. Only this time, it has donned an avatar as the AT&T-bound Heron. Its impressive specs include a 2.8-inch touch screen, 3MP camera with flash, aGPS, 3G, and a big red “subject to change” notice since the device has moved to, hold your breath, the Android OS.

The smartphone is said to be available on November 2nd, but that just might be off target, we think. Also on the menu is another portrait slider, the Sawgrass. This one may in fact be Motorola Alexander. Then again, we hear from other sources that this might appear under the name Somerset. Well, well, we will just have to wait and watch to know the ultimate truth, won’t we?
