Keeping its gears with the successful launch of BlackBerry 8310, Virgin Mobile has launched BlackBerry Curve 8330 in Canada.
BlackBerry 8330 is shaped and designed well and looks quite huge. It measures 4.2 inches in length and 2.4 inches in width with 0.6 inch deep. It weighs 4.2 ounces. 8330 is a non touch screen phone which has a 2.5-inch screen with a 65,536 color output and 320×240 pixel resolution. BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone has a 2MP camera with built-in zoom and flash.
BlackBerry 8330 comes packed with 1GB of microSD card and 96MB of internal memory however it lacks Wi-Fi. Its other notable features includes stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS navigation, QWERTY keyboard, large QVGA display, push email, and trackball navigation.
BlackBerry 8330 will cost of $49.99 on a 3-year plan, $329.99 on a 2-year plan, $379.99 on a 1-year plan and 429.99 USD for 30 days.

RIM together with Verizon Wireless introduced new color additions to its smartphone range. BlackBerry Curve 8330 and BlackBerry Pearl 8130 in new pink colors are QWERTY smartphones in a compact form factor and both run on the nation’s most reliable wireless network. The Curve is available through Verizon’s online shop but stores will reach on August 15. Its price is $99.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. The Pearl 8130 is now available online as well as in stores for $79.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
