Sony Ericsson Introduces Four New Panels For Its Xperia X1 Mobile Phone

Sony Ericsson has done it yet again! The company has now introduced latest panels for its Xperia X1, letting users further personalize their device with the features they find most convenient. The four new panels, which will be available for the Xperia X1 mobile phone from March 2009, will further enhance the User Interface, bringing the content and application they want, right to their desktop.

A new CNN panel helps the user keep updated with the latest world news as it happens. It also gives the user access to CNN’s popular citizen journalism tool, ‘i-Report’. The second new panel is the unique Skype panel, that gives the user quick access to Skype’s IM convenience on the X1.

For those looking for a spot of fun, the Mytopia panel allows the user to play addictive games like Bingo and Poker online, with gamers across the world. He can even collect virtual coins to improve his player ranking online. The fourth new panel, ‘On the Road’, includes huge touch icons, all lined up in a simple layout. It offers users direct access to music tracks and playlists, navigation tools and easy call-handling. This is most ideal for those on the move always.
