Sony Ericsson Announces First Ever Mobile Phone With Smile Shutter Technology

Sony Ericsson has today announced its first ever mobile phone with Smile Shutter technology, built into its most reasonably priced Cyber-shot phone, the C510 Cyber-shot. The unique Smile Shutter technology will also be incorporated into the 8.1MP camera phone, C905. Sony’s Cyber-shot industry has already pushed some 32 million handsets across the globe. With the advent of C510 Cyber-shot, Sony Ericsson is all set to make major waves in the mobile markets.

The C510 Cyber-shot’s features include autofocus 3.2MP camera supporting video recording and playback, Smile Shutter that clicks only when it detects the person’s smile, face detection, auto-rotation of pictures, Photo Fix, HP Snapfish that lets users print picture orders online and YouTube. Additionally, this GSM/GPRS/EDGE device supports Bluetooth, media player, Web browser, photo feeds, video calling, MS Exchange ActiveSync, FM Radio, Video streaming, location-based services and more.

The C510 Cyber-shot will be available in select markets in Future Black and Radiation Silver colors.
