Skyfire to improve its browser to 0.8 Windows Mobile version
If you remember Skyfire won Top App 2008 Award from Fierce Mobile Skyfire some time back and was the first mobile browser to support full web PC browsing, including rich media content and supporting Ajax. The latest news is that Skyfire has announced new free mobile browser and has invited users to register themselves for quick free browser as before users had to sign-up on a waiting list for Skyfire but the good thing is that this time its Windows Mobile browser is available for every one.
The new version of Skyfire adds even more speed and in addition Skyfire has announced its 0.8 version for Windows Mobile which features better video quality, ability to make Skyfire the default browser, faster launch and auto-reconnect, improved zooming and ability to download content.
Skyfire has anounced that it will begin the migration of current 0.6 users to the 0.8 version today and will also allow new Windows Mobile users to download it directly from www.skyfire.com. Skyfire, which supports all Web 2.0 standards like Ajax and full Flash, is also available in version 0.6 on the Symbian S60 platform. Skyfire plans to to release 0.8 version Symbian shortly.
