Pantech and Helio are the parents of the upcoming Ocean 2 / OZ 2
According to the FCC documents, Pantech together with Helio will announce the high anticipated Ocean 2 or also known as OZ 2. The device will feature a QVGA display like its predecessor, the Ocean. Full HTML browser you will be able to control with a QWERTY keyboard as well as with numeric keys.
The phone will also include Bluetooth, microSD support and a 2 megapixel camera. In dual-slide form factor it will support EVDO 3G data. We can also say that Virgin Mobile has confirmed the launch of this device however there are no details on the price or availability.

I don`t see any different features for the ocean. For it to be a top secret. Please explain it to me like a 5 year old? Why so much time on this oz2 and the features are the same. The only difference is the design of the phone. What makes it different than the original!!!!!!

Yeah this phone should have at least a 3mp camera wifi and a touch screen. that would give it a reason to come out. looks like oz 2 is just a shiny ocean

I am a bit confused. I noticed that ATT is coming out with a phone much similar to the release of the anticipated OZII. The phone is called the Pantech Duo C-820 and it looks more appealing than the OZII. I am interested in knowing if that is going to be sold with ATT or could it be a potential OZII with a new name being sold through and serviced with Helio?

They took the flash and the mirror off of the camera…. I see no reason to get this phone if you already have an ocean. NOTHING new has been added besides flash enabled on the web browser… yawn
