Nokia Surge Reincarnating In Europe As The Nokia 6760 Slide

Nokia has announced today that the Nokia Surge, a messaging phone with a slider QWERTY keyboard, is going to be released in Europe as the Nokia 6760 Slide. While AT&T will promote the Surge in the US, the European version, the Nokia 6760 Slide, will come with a 3.2MP camera (the original Surge has a 2MP camera), A-GPS and 3D landmarks and terrain maps as well. This phone will come to that market in Q3 2009 for 199 EUR before taxes and subsidies.

The Nokia 6760 Slide offers users easy access to social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Twitter and also email from Yahoo!, Gmail, Ovi Mail, Windows Live Hotmail and many, many others.
