Nokia has today launched its online software and content store, which it is the company’s answer to other mobile stores such as the iPhone Apps Store, the Android Market, and the BlackBerry App World.

Initially, the availability of the launch was limited to just several handsets in the Australian and Singapore markets. Nokia had announced then that more markets and handsets would come online in the following week. The Ovi Store offers games, applications, music and other content that is compatible with Nokia handsets.
