Motorola’s i856 Phone Goes Through The FCC Doorway

Do you recall we had told you about the Motorola i856 slider phone in March this year? Well, it has now entered the FCC files for approval. Nothing fantastically remarkable about this device. It’s an iDEN multimedia phone with a dedicated music button and all.

While the Motorola i856 is not for rough use, it definitely is worth a look for the normal Boost Mobile user without ambitions of owning a very high-end mobile phone. There is no word yet on the release dates or partner carriers, so we will have to wait and watch for more info on this one.
