LG Electronics Shines At The 2009 MWC
LG Electronics has emerged as a true global player of mobile phones at the 2009 Mobile World Congress taking place now at Barcelona, Spain. The company is focusing sharply on its intuitive touch-phone technology, by exhibiting 30 of its latest mobile phones, spread through various “zones”, such as the Entertainment Zone, Convergence Zone, Style Zone, Green Zone and so on. LG Electronics’ main aim at this MWC is to show off its ‘S Class UI’ Watch Phone mounts, 3G data cards and also 4th Generation advanced mobile technology.
The LG Arena model, LG-KM900 falls into the Entertainment Zone. This had been displayed by setting up a multi-touch ‘Arena Hall’ for visitors, giving them the exact idea of how the cell phone works. Additionally, the 8MP LG-KC910 and LG-KC780 was showcased for the first time ever. The LG-GM730 came into the Convergence Line of phones and the Style Zone included the very stylish Chocolate, Shine and Secret Black Label Series phones. The LG-GD900, a full touchscreen mobile phone with a transparent design, also became very popular among the crowd. So were the PRADA LG phones, the LG-KF900 and the PRADA Link, LG-LBA-T950.
The LG HFB-500, an eco-friendly phone using solar power, became immensely popular. So also did the Advanced Technology Zone line, which included a Touch Watch phone supporting 7.2 Mbps HSDPA speeds and the company’s very first 4th Generation LTE wireless modem chip.
