Lenovo launches P960, a fingerprint scanner phone

China’s leading mobile maker Lenovo has just launched its new P960, which is the first phone model carrying a fingerprint biometrics technology. Lenovo P960 features a 1.3 megapixel camera, dual-band GSM network and GPRS, a 2.8″ LCD display, and best of all an integrated music player, and a microSD card slot.

This device is actually making waves because of its recording option and biometric fingerprint scanner. Lenovo P960 has an automatic recording feature that automatically records calls from designated numbers. P960 mobile comes with a built in Biometric fingerprint scanner which offers protection from theft. It actually uses Atrua’s popular fingerprint touch control system, a technology which accurately recognizes fingerprints while consuming only a fraction of the power to image a fingerprint.
