Google Gears Goes Mobile

Phone Scoop reports: “Today Google began making Google Gears available on mobile devices. Gears allows users to continue to use a web-based application even if the Internet connection has been lost or the user is offline.”

“Gears must be installed locally on the smartphone in oder to work. Google is first offering Gears mobile for Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile 5 and 6 smartphones.”
