Garmin-ASUS Reveal Details On Their Nuvifone G60
The 2009 MWC is indeed seeing a lot of “mobile activity”, much as expected, of course. The latest news is that Garmin-ASUS have announced specifications of their much-sought-after nuvifone G60. The company’s newest is the nuvifone line, that also includes the nuvifone M20.
The Garmin-ASUS nuvifone G60 features path-breaking location-based service (LBS) technology and offers a superior and innovative product for those looking for an all-in-one, LBS-centric phone with mobile Web browser and personal navigator as well. The nuvifone G60 has been designed especially for those who appreciate easy-to-operate devices which also give accurate locations.
The quad-band 3.5G GSM nuvifone G60 comes with HSDPA networks and supports Wi-Fi too. Its massive 3.55” display prominently features three icons, “Call”, “Search” and “View Map”. The touchscreen display is easy to operate with and works with a mere feather touch. Further, the nuvifone G60 allows users to access applications like SMS, Email, POP3, IMAP4, fully customizable QWERTY or A-to-Z keyboard, photo sharing, social networking and online sharing of location info with other contacts.
Other expanded applications include real-time traffic updates, White Pages, weather, flight schedules, local events and movie times. Information on the availability and pricing of this phone is expected soon.
