I have this phone for almost 8 months…
*it’s working good
*my text message will be received on time
*the mp3 player is good with nice sounds paired
to its headphone

*my only problem is the keypad is hard to use for
text.

I feel exactly the same. I love SE phones but they never seem to do the good phones with high quality camera for the female market. This looks to be the phone that I have also been searching and waiting for for years and there seems to be a huge amount of interest in it so why SE wouldn’t bring it to the UK I have no idea. I did email them quite a while back to ask if this would be out in the UK and they said there were no plans to bring it out over here. This seems like insanity to me

i am also sick of searching for the price and place to get this phone from in the england! i know you are saying its only for japanese users but surely this phone can be sold out of japan like everything else. i’ve noticed ALOT of people want this phone i’ve been many websites leaving comments asking the same as these other people and still no answer. this phone could be very popular. ive been looking for a phone like this for years! i love bright pink. the slide up and sony ericsson phones! can’t find any other phone like it!

ok ok im thinking of getting this phone and yes blackberrys also have a sleep mode which is what they are in when u leave them on at night
also he means 2 days of never being turned off
my propel lasted 1 week without charge but thats turning it off at night and back on in the moring so if u dont leave ur phone on, which u shouldnt do then ur fine

Trust me if you are a Vodafone business user who may have been tempted by this phone – really…spend the extra £50 to get a better smartphone!

So far we have been trailling this phone and sufficied to say this will be the second return in a month and a half. On a whim it will suddenly deplete the battery, and refuses to come on ever again, despite anything we try and do to coax it back to life. However on a positive note; it makes for a very nice looking paperweight.

On another positive note when the phone did work, the screen was easy to navigate around and everything was useful for “at a glance”. The keys are very tactile and whilst small, I didn’t find myself pressing every other key to get the one I wanted.

However overall there is still the massive factor of this phone just dying, so beware, if you are a Voda corporate customer and just so happen to see this phone on offer then get the better model

What the hell is going on.. I have been told by T-Mobile that they have stopped production on the White G1..I’m gutted, in fact I wont be moving to T-Mobile or get the G1 I wanted so bad, and tried to get all week. I will buy a second hand WHITE G1 and have it unlocked and go to O2 for spite.. At least I can show how pissed off I am…No White G1 indeed..disgusted.
