The Telus HTC Snap Is Now Your “Best Buy”

Canadians now have every reason to celebrate. Best Buy Canada is offering the Telus HTC Snap for dirt cheap rates. Of course, you will have to be prepared to spend three long years with Telus. Though Telus has not yet released the Snap smartphone yet, it is more than willing to tie up with the Taiwanese mobile phone giant.

You can now get the HTC Snap at Best Buy for CAD $29.99, which amounts to about $27, on a 3-year contract. Well, we think this is a massive steal for a suave WinMo smartphone including a QWERTY keyboard and global roaming. So “Snap” up this offer right now, folks!

HTC Touch Pro2 To Get Additional 3.55mm Headphone Jack

The HTC Touch Pro2 CDMA smartphone for Telus Canada may now be getting an extra 3.5mm headphone jack. It will be placed just adjacent to the ExtUSB port and will give users quick and convenient access for headphones or earphones.

The GSM version of this device, though, will not have this bonus, and so GSM users of the Touch Pro2 will still have to depend on either the ExtUSB port or Bluetooth for audio connection.

BlackBerry Tour Coming To Telus On July 15

The latest news that has fallen into our ears is that Telus is all set to receive the BlackBerry Tour on July 15, much at the same time, if not actually before, its other counterparts in the US. The pricing of this gorgeous smartphone is set at CAD $249.99, which comes to approx. $220, on an introductory three-year offer. Of course, this means that you will have to agree for a three-year contract with a voice plan of $20 or more and data package of $15 or more.

The BlackBerry Tour will otherwise cost you a shocking CAD $449.99 for a three-year contract or up to $699.99 for a completely contract-free device. The Tour, it is expected, will be much more advanced than the Curve and the 8800 Series, but this pricing is still way too much, we think. What do you guys have to say about it?
