We had told you just a couple of days ago about Sprint getting the BlackBerry Curve in two very different colors (click here to read original post). Here is one of the smartphone, in Inferno Orange. Take a look at it. This one is now available in the market.
You will realize from the pic below that this smartphone is strictly meant only and only for those who like a little too much flamboyance and drama in their daily lives. Of course, you also get to make a very unusual and bold statement with this kinda device. Imagine carrying this along to major exec meetings or power lunches – worse – to power dinners!
The Inferno Orange Curve 8330 is now available for $49.99 on contract and after discounts, which is the same price as the other pieces in milder colors. Well, do you want to be the next fashion icon or what?
We had recently brought you a video review of the BlackBerry Tour 9630. The smartphone is now available at both Verizon Wireless and Sprint. Both these carriers have priced the device at $199.99 with a two-year contract.
The Tour looks much like the Bold and Curve 8900, with very little differences in design. Specs include a trackball, quad-band GSM/EDGE and EV-DO CDMA for both Sprint and Verizon networks. Visit Sprint and Verizon Wireless for more info.
Here is a video tour of the HTC Ozone smartphone for Verizon Wireless. This device looks very similar to the HTC Snap. The HTC Ozone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a QWERTY keyboard, 2.4” QVGA display, 2MP autofocus camera and camcorder and microSD slot as well.
Sprint Nextel has officially announced that it will be adding Wi-Fi to the BlackBerry Tour, starting next year. The carrier also said that it would include Wi-Fi in all its future smartphones. Sprint did not reveal how long it would take for its entire line-up of handhelds, but one thing is certain – Wi-Fi certainly is coming very soon.
Not only Sprint, but Verizon Wireless also revealed it has the same plans of introducing Wi-Fi to its own BlackBerry line of smartphones as well. But Verizon has not yet given a definite deadline as to when this service will be released. Right now, the BlackBerry Tour and Storm devices do not include Wi-Fi.
