Fake Handhelds In The Markets This Week

Fake and clone mobile phones and smartphones are dime a dozen, with more and more such brands flooding the market each day. We found four such new fake brands this week. Let us see what they are.

Samsung Pixon
The optical zoom of the camera of this so-called “model” is what is remarkable about this device. Of course, we doubt its picture quality would be anything even remotely similar to the original “real” version.

LG KM900 Arena
Though very close to the actual Arena, which boasts of a WVGA touchscreen display, this fake comes with a standard QVGA display. It is also not so slim as the real Arena.

Sony Ericsson Idou
The fake version does not include the Symbian Foundation, neither does it offer SE’s stunning 12MP camera and other fantastic services like Satio packs and the like.

Vertu K73
This model says “K73”, but we really don’t think there is a Vertu model by that name at all. But it is “inspired” by the Vertu name after all, so we include it in the fake category.

The noteworthy fact is that all the above phones possess Bluetooth support, microSD slot. Why, some even offer the dual-SIM facility. Also, all of them come with a warranty. Of course, we wonder how good the said “warranty” might be….
