The latest news from Samsung is that its massively impressive i7500 Galaxy is coming to O2 UK soon. The smartphone has already been lapped up by O2 in Germany and now it’s also entered Britain. The carrier has now officially confirmed that it will be promoting the Android-powered device.
The Samsung i7500 Galaxy will enter the UK market in August. O2 Germany is offering the smae at about $98 on contract, so though there is no pricing availability on the English one yet, we assume it would be around that same price range. You never know – they might even offer it free with some plan – imagination costs nothing after all, see?
The original Samsung Glyde did not really cause much of a clamor in the mobile market. But the phone seems to be second-time lucky. Now blurry photos of the Glyde 2, also called the u960, have featured online. This one looks far better than its predecessor.
The QWERTY keyboard of the Glyde 2 looks more spacious that makes better use of the bottom part. There is also the usual TouchWiz to be seen on the screen. What amazed us was the big Verizon logo just above the display screen. There is still no news about when this one might be released. We sure will let you know as and when the news peters in. Look at the pic below and tell us what you think of it.
The Pantech SKY IM-U460K or the “Love Actually”, which somehow seems to resemble the Samsung Memoir, is going to be released in South Korea with the carrier, KTF. It brings HSDPA, global roaming, integrated DMB tuner, 3MP camera and microSD slot as well.
What really impressed us about the phone, though, is its 3” QVGA resolution screen, that comes with big-sized dot matrix display, that is bound to thrill one and all with its retro looks. As is usual will all of Pantech’s SKY-branded cuties, this one also may enter markets outside Korea.
The latest Samsung Jet UK TV ad, which first made its appearance last Friday, left us a little shaken and stirred. Directed by the same one who made the UK teen series, Skins, this ad survives on the credit line, “Impatience Is A Virtue”.
The first half of the ad is ok – nothing special to talk about. But we think your eyes may pop out during the second half. We have to caution you the latter half is kinda full-on, so be prepared for the shocker.
