Remember we had brought you a couple of videos on the upcoming Nokia rugged phone, just a few days back (Click here to go to original post)? Well, the company has now introduced the Nokia 3720 classic rugged phone, an IP-54 certified device that is designed to be dust, shock and water resistant.
Encased in a tough material, it is also completely sealed so as to protect its inner electronic circuits. Other specs include LED flashlight, 2.2” QVGA display, 20MB memory, microSD card slot and 2MP camera.
This thing weighs only 94 grams and is supposed to retail in the market for about EUR 125 before taxes. As far as we know, the Nokia 3720 classic will be coming in summer in grey or yellow colors.
We kept hoping and actually, we are still hopeful, that Nokia’s lovely 5530 XpressMusic handset comes with 3G. This particular mobile phone has now been okayed by the FCC, though there seems to be no trace of the 3G yet.
Anyways, one good thing is that it looks a lot better than the higher-end Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone. The 5530 also has EDGE for the WWAN, relying on its Wi-Fi for transporting heavy data back and forth. No more info for now, so we shall bring it to you as it comes.
We have here for you, a video review of the Nokia N97. The N97 is the flagship smartphone for Nokia. This device, which uses the S60 5th Edition UI and Symbian OS includes a 3.5” touchscreen display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 32GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot and stunning 5MP camera. Are you the kind who would simply love to own a rugged phone? According to the Nokia Conversations site, Nokia is now previewing its rugged phone with a series of tough tests.
We have got our hands on the videos of the first two tests and will be coming out with more in the near future. Hold on tight to your seat belts, watch the videos and enjoy!
