NS01 by Kyocera, the First “Belt Worthy” Phone

Kyocera has produced what many cellular manufacturers have tried to produce and flawlessly have failed at, a mobile phone that can easily be mounted onto your belt without the restrictions of a leather synthetic case.

We’re not too sure however that many people will come to use this feature, however you can most definitely be sure that you won’t have to wonder if you dropped your phone at the restaurant you were just dining at.

The NS01 includes a 2.8″ wide QVGA screen (240 × 400 pixels), a 1.97 megapixel camera, Infrared and up to 4GB of external memory card microSDHC support.

“Quantum of Solace” arrives to Japan – KDDI introduces Sony Ericsson W63S 007 Edition 1X WIN phone

It seems like Sony Ericsson wants to bring a “feeling of spy” to its customers around the world. Before we had here C902 model with 007 mark and now, our Japanese friends will may hold it from tomorrow (Jan 21 2009)  thanks to KDDI.  There have not been unveiled any detailed specifications yet on this handset but we can say based on the available pictures that the “007 phone” will be equipped with CDMA 1X WIN, and a 3.2MP CMOS camera with auto-focus.

What more? We can only guess it will also feature 2.7″ WQVGA (240 × 400) screen, 1.1″ external display, 100MB of user memory, Infrared, Bluetooth, and microSD card support – contained in the original Sony Ericsson W63S model. Honestly, I haven’t seen the movie yet but like a mobile fan I would choose this version of “Quantum of Solace” device for around 13,000 yen (~144 USD/111 EUR).
