Digipower has now announced the launch of the Jumpstart family of universal chargers led by its flagship product, the Jumpstart Sport. The Jumpstart Sport provides portable power in slim and fashionable designs, ranging from camouflage through to plaid. This is especially designed for today’s active individual.
Jumpstart Sport comes with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack ith cable and connectors for a series of popular cell phones, smartphones including the Apple iPhone or Blackberry, handheld game devices and even portable GPS devices. This is recharged using a supplied AC wall charger or a USB cable and even has a battery gauge on the device shows instantly how much power is remaining. The unique thing about it is that it retains its charge for up to one year, and can charge a device in only forty minutes. The Jumpstart and phone can be charged simultaneously using the cellphone’s car or wall charger.
The MSRP of the Jumpstart Sport universal charger is $49.99. MSRP for the Jumpstart emergency charger is $14.99. The Jumpstart products will be available in June from select retailers in the US.

Boost Mobile revealed its plans to open 50 exclusive retail stores nationwide, thereby expanding its presence to all major metro areas all over the country. The first retail store was opened in Philadelphia, with 9 more to open across many US cities in the first half of this year. 40 more stores are scheduled to come up by this year end.
Cities to receive Boost Mobile Exclusive Retail Stores in the first half of 2009 include Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Orlando, New York, Charlotte, Minneapolis, San Francisco and Las Vegas. The Boost Mobile Exclusive Retail Store chain will offer customers a complete handset line-up plus all kinds of accessories as well. In addition to this, Boost Mobile handsets will also be available through almost 20,000 major US retail outlets such as Radio Shack, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Sprint retail stores and independent retailers as well, with Re-Boost cards made available at almost 10,000 locations around the country.
