Apple Provides Store Credit To Make Up For iPhone Activation Delays
The latest news is that Apple has issued an email to all new iPhone 3G S users who cannot yet activate their new smartphones. Apple unconditionally apologized for the delay, citing high traffic volumes on its servers.
Apple has also decided to make up for this delay by giving customers a free card, which would work as a store credit. One excerpt of the email reads, “On Monday, you’ll receive an email from Apple with an iTunes Store credit in the amount of $30. We hope you will enjoy this gift and accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this delay has caused.”
